<p><strong>Counter-i</strong> helps supervisors and auditors record counts, timing, and generate reports. We are committed to protecting your privacy.</p>
<h2>Information We Collect</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>App data you enter:</strong> recipes, counters, customer names, notes, and reports. Stored locally on your device. (If you later opt in to cloud sync, data may be stored securely on our servers.)</li>
<li><strong>Camera access (optional):</strong> used only to estimate line speed in the “Camera Line Speed” tool. We do not capture or save photos or video.</li>
<li><strong>Files & sharing:</strong> when you export or share a report, the generated file is created on-device and only shared where you choose.</li>
<li><strong>Analytics (optional):</strong> if enabled in the future, we may collect anonymized usage to improve the app. You can opt out.</li>

<h2>How We Use Information</h2>

<li>Provide core functionality (counting, timing, reporting).</li>
<li>Improve reliability and user experience.</li>
<li>If subscribed, manage your entitlement and trial status.</li>

<h2>Data Storage & Retention</h2>
<p>By default, your data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app, local data is removed. If you opt into future cloud features, we’ll explain storage locations and retention before enabling them.</p>
<h2>Sharing & Third Parties</h2>
<p>We do not sell your personal data. We may use trusted processors for payments, crash reporting, or analytics. Those providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.</p>
<h2>Security</h2>
<p>We use industry-standard security measures. No method is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your information.</p>
<h2>Your Choices</h2>

<li>Export or delete your data anytime from within the app (where available) or by contacting us.</li>
<li>Control permissions (Camera, Photos) in your device settings.</li>
